INIAD（情報連携学部）のFahim Khan准教授によるエッセイ「The Pandemic-Triggered Paradigm Shift in Education: Experience of an Engineering Faculty Member」が第12回 IEEEキャリアアップ・スキルアップに関するエッセイコンテストにおいて、IEEE WIE優秀賞を受賞しました。
本エッセイコンテストはIEEE Japan Council Women in Engineering（WIE）アフィニティグループが主催しており、受賞した賞には賞金1万円が与えられます。

IEEEの若手会員や女性会員の更なる発展の足掛かりとすべく、毎年キャリアアップ・スキルアップに関するエッセイコンテストが開催されています。年齢や職業に関わらず、研究・技術に携わる全ての方々が対象です。2020年のエッセイコンテストの主催はIEEE Tokyo YP (Young Professionals) 、そして共催はIEEE Nagoya YP、IEEE Kansai YP、IEEE Sendai YP、IEEE Sapporo YP、IEEE Japan Council WIE、Nagoya WIE、Kansai WIE、Sendai WIEとSapporo WIEでした。入賞したエッセイは、IEEE東京セクションのウェブサイトに掲載されています。

IEEE WIE Award Won by Dr. Fahim Khan at the 12th IEEE Career Development Essay Contest

INIAD associate professor Fahim Khan has been awarded at the 12th IEEE Career Development Essay Contest for his essay titled, “The Pandemic-Triggered Paradigm Shift in Education: Experience of an Engineering Faculty Member”. The award, which included a certificate of excellence and a cash prize of 10,000 yen, was sponsored by IEEE Japan Council Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group. 

IEEE career development essay contest is held annually in order to encourage further career development of young members – men and women alike. The contest is open to all people who are involved in science and technology regardless of age and occupation. The 2020 essay contest was organized by IEEE Tokyo YP (Young Professionals), and co-sponsored by IEEE Nagoya YP, IEEE Kansai YP, IEEE Sendai YP, IEEE Sapporo YP, IEEE Japan Council WIE, Nagoya WIE, Kansai WIE, Sendai WIE, and Sapporo WIE. The winning essays have been posted on IEEE Tokyo Section’s website.
