Faculty of Information Networking for Innovation And Design, Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation And Design, Toyo University is a graduate school engaged in education and research that is integrated with the Faculty of Information Networking for Innovation And Design, Toyo University.
Nine research areas
Students at the Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation And Design can deeply research and master nine areas of specialization which support “networking” based on Computer Science.
● Information infrastructure technology research area
This area covers the research of the infrastructure technologies which support “networking,” including programming languages and information security.
● Computer architecture research area
This area covers the research of computer systems of the new era such as today’s Internet of Things. Topics include element technologies such as real-time operating systems up to applications.
● Computer network research area
This area covers the research of network technologies which support the Internet of Things era such as low-power wireless communications technology and cloud computing.
● Digital design research area
This area covers the research of digital fabrication technologies including 3D printers and manufacturing that utilizes computer.
● User experience design research area
This area covers the research of the relationship between people, information, and computers such as new user interface designs, the relationship between people and spatial information.
● Business incubation research area
This area covers the research of the relationship between business and information and communications technologies including computers and new development of businesses which apply those technologies.
● Data science research area
This area covers the research of application of machine learning technologies including deep learning and data analysis technology to big data in various areas of society.
● Infrastructure services research area
This area covers the research of information and communications technologies which are useful for the design of various forms of social infrastructure or urban and traffic management.
● Quality of life research area
This area researches information and communications technologies which can be applied to healthcare and community formation to improve the standard of living.
The Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation And Design supports adult education. The program can be completed in one year by focusing on taking the required courses.
Graduate school entrance examination
The Graduate school entrance examination is held three times per year.
