As generative AI continues to evolve, we consistently update the models supported by AI-MOP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deepening Understanding through Iterative Dialogue with AI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Leveraging this system, INIAD actively provides the appropriate environment, guidance, and educational materials to help students deepen their thinking and acquire advanced critical thinking skills through generative AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of AI-MOP is to enhance educational outcomes by enabling self-directed learning. Furthermore, by making generative AI APIs available for programming, students can also learn the skills necessary for developing systems that utilize AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students use AI-MOP to resolve queries, deepen their understanding through dialogue, and engage in research or assignments that utilize AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features of AI-MOP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At INIAD, Slack is used by all students and faculty as a communication platform. Rather than accessing ChatGPT directly, students interact with Large Language Models (LLMs), such as GPT, through a Slack bot integrated with AI-MOP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI-MOP includes the following features essential for large-scale organizations, including educational institutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Token Management<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>In generative AI, especially LLMs, the number of &#8220;tokens&#8221; (data volume) is determined by the character count of prompts and responses. With AI-MOP, users can monitor their own token consumption. Administrators can easily monitor usage and set monthly token limits for all users, preventing wasteful consumption across the entire system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, limits can be set for specific users, organizations, or groups, allowing for optimized usage plans tailored to project teams, research labs, or specific classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">API Provisioning<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>AI-MOP provides APIs that facilitate easy access not only to OpenAI\u2019s GPT series but also to generative AI from various other vendors. Designed with beginners in mind, it includes a function to automatically stop communication upon detecting infinite loops or abnormal access, thereby preventing unnecessary token expenditure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the token management feature is also available, costs can be managed appropriately. Future plans include features to support multiple generative AIs, making them easy to handle even for programming novices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LLM Utilization Based on URLs and Documents<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>AAI-MOP provides a feature that incorporates organizational data into LLMs to provide answers based on that content. Specifically, when URLs or PDF files are added to AI-MOP, the system automatically analyzes the content and inputs vectorized data into the prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This enables the easy creation of new chat-based services, such as AI support desks that provide FAQs on campus systems or AI Teaching Assistants that answer questions based on digitized course materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enhanced Program Integration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>AI-MOP features strengthened integration with programming. By using a mode that returns responses in JSON format\u2014which is easy for programs to process\u2014results can be seamlessly integrated into software applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, AI-MOP includes the ability to execute programs. Tasks such as data analysis requests or plotting charts can be easily performed simply by asking in natural language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Administrative Features<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Because AI-MOP utilizes generative AI APIs, usage history is not used for training by the AI vendors. However, based on an organization\u2019s management policy, conversation logs can be utilized internally to improve the quality of chat responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system is also configured to run on various cloud platforms. This allows for flexible deployment, such as running the system on a cloud platform contracted independently by an educational institution or corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking to the Future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ken Sakamura, the founder of INIAD, explains the vision: &#8220;This new system leads INIAD&#8217;s educational innovation, providing an environment where students can deepen their learning using cutting-edge technology.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students have also shared positive feedback, noting that &#8220;the ability to use generative AI has made research and assignments proceed much more smoothly.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI-MOP is designed and implemented for use in other universities, educational institutions, and large-scale corporations. By introducing this system, we aim to provide opportunities for more students and professionals to learn in an AI-enhanced educational environment.
